Overview
Lead Salesforce Developer role with technical oversight and project delivery responsibilities in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibility
Own overall architecture, design, and development of the end-to-end solution
Maintain the Insulet Core Application Development Practices guide
Assist teams with DevOps escalations and advanced development strategies
Serve as escalation/collaboration point for fellow technical leads, analysts, developers on all technical questions or issues
Work proactively to identify and remove technical debt and security vulnerabilities
Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams
Develop and maintain coding, testing standards and best practices documents
Enforce best practices through design reviews and technical architecture reviews
Requirements
9+ years as a Salesforce developer with at least 3 years working as a lead on Sales, Service, Health and Experience clouds
Strong knowledge of custom Salesforce development including Apex and Flows, Lightning Web Components and Omniscript, basic administration, reporting and general design concepts.
Strong knowledge of OOAD, Design Patterns and general architectural best practices
Good understanding of OAUTH 2.0 flows, encryption at-rest and in-transit, and other security best practices
Experience working on web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Experience building webservices using SOAP, REST, XML, JSON
Expertise in DevOps best practices, CI/CD and deployment for an IT organization of enterprise scale, either with Salesforce specific tools like Copado or Git, Bamboo etc.
Knowledge or experience working with middleware platforms such as Mulesoft, as well as implementing point-to-point integrations on the Salesforce.com platform
